'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: Cain Is Being 'Helpful' To Dean? EP Gives Cryptic Teaser For Timothy Omundson's Return [VIDEO]
Cain will believe he is adding Dean when he returns to Supernatural in "The Executioner's Song."
The Father of Murder (Timothy Omundson) will be busy living up to his name when the Castiel (Misha Collins) tracks him down, but the Knight's killing field won't keep him from meeting up with his protégée later in the episode.
"Let me say this: I think the episode with Cain is really great," executive producer Jeremy Carver told TV Line. "[When Dean asks for help,] from Cain's point of view, he thinks he's being helpful. That's cagey and mysterious and deliberate in the way I'm saying that. But once you see the episode, you'll see what I mean."

Throwing the elder Winchester into a wall and snatching away the First Blade doesn't seem particularly helpful but we have yet to hear Cain's side of the story. Just like with the murder of Able, our interpretation of Cain's actions could be covering a very different truth.
