Police responded at 2 a.m. Sunday morning to a report "regarding an intoxicated man, reportedly White, who allegedly pulled a fire alarm at the hotel which caused the evacuation of all guests," according to USA Today.

White then tried to leave the hotel by taxi, police said, but a person nearby told the cab driver that he had called police. Once White heard that, he "attempted to attack the man and fell and hit his head."

Police on the scene said White seemed "extremely intoxicated and smelled strongly of alcohol."

The vandalism charge comes from a separate report that says White destroyed a phone belonging to the hotel where he was staying.

A spokesperson for Baptist Hospital in Nashville confirmed White received treatment at the facility and was released from the hospital on Monday.

White is a well-decorated skateboarder and snowboarded. He currently holds the record for the highest score in the men's halfpipe at the Winter Olympics. He initially set a record of 46.8 points in 2006 and bested his own score in 2010 with 48.4 points.
