Will Papa Pope Save Olivia Pope From Her Buyers On 'Scandal?'
Thursday night's new episode of Scandal was full of twist and turns and it looked like Liv wasn't going to make it home but in true Shonda Rhimes fashion, the ending proved that nothing is ever what it seems to be.
The episode, No More Blood, picked up exactly where things left off last week. Liv was getting ready to be handed over to Iran, but luckily Liv knew how to speak Farsi and she was able put an end to the plan and buy her self more time.
'Scandal's' Billion-Dollar Bid For Olivia Pope Begins
Fitz and the White House were planning to extract a plan that could bring Liv home, but Cyrus Beene and the head of the CIA planned to go against the President because Liv could have become an enemy of the state.
Due to her high security clearance level, Cyrus and the CIA director planned to kill Liv because in their eyes she was a weapon that needed to be destroyed.
Over at Olivia Pope and Associates, Huck, Quinn and Jake were bidding on the Darknet posing as Liv's mom, Marie Wallace (aka Maya Pope) but they end up loosing after Gus realizes that Liv has ties to Wallace.
Jake found Rowan causally fishing, and when he filled him on the situation, Papa Pope wasn't exactly surprised and he could care less that Liv is missing. When Jake reminded him that Liv is his daughter, he replied, "I don't have a daughter."
Finally the time camem, with Liv being handed over to the Russians. As Cyrus and the CIA director planned to shoot her down, Cyrus saw a familiar face; it's Stephen, the gladiator from season 1. Stephen was the one leading the Russian terrorists, and he bought her on the Darknet auction.
After Liv was returned home, she told Jake, Quinn and Huck that she wanted to be alone. Of course Fitz showed up seconds later, but this was not the romantic greeting fans were expecting. Liv was furious that the president tried to save her and she told him that she was on her own and threw her ring at him.
