Pregnant 'Teen Mom' Maci Bookout Struggles To Sleep

Midway through her second pregnancy, Bookout took flight, traveling to Syracuse, N.Y., where temperatures are in the single digits. Throughout her trip, Bookout kept her fans in the loop with her feelings about the cold weather.

On Friday, along with the caption, "Nope," Bookout shared a photo of the wing of her plane, which was covered by a one degree banner. An hour later, Bookout tweeted, "i have an hour drive in snow & ice to my hotel... im from the south... prayers please."

Bookout announced she was expecting her second child in December during an interview with In Touch Weekly. Speaking to the magazine, Bookout revealed she believed she was unable to get pregnant after being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

However, in late summer, Bookout began experiencing some odd symptoms, and opted to take a pregnancy test, which revealed she was expecting.

"I started having very strange symptoms, like my legs were very itchy and I had tenderness in my breasts. So we got a test and it said I was pregnant," Bookout told the magazine. "I didn’t think that another pregnancy was possible. We still can’t believe it. It was a huge shock, but we are very excited."

For the past several months, Bookout, along with Catelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood and Farrah Abraham, have been filming the fifth season of Teen Mom, which is expected to include plenty of footage of Bookout's pregnancy.

Teen Mom OG premieres on March 23 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
