5 Seconds of Summer flew to Japan over the weekend for their upcoming headlining gig as well as some shows with their pals from One Direction.

Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford and Calum Hood received a warm welcome at the airport in Japan from adoring fans.
They posed for pictures in the airport in authentic Japanese garb.
5 Seconds of Summer's Drummer Has Mixed Emotions About Japan Trip
All four members have continued to share their excitement since landing in Japan.
"This is such an exciting time," they dished about being in Tokyo.
They've been tweeting in Japanese!
"Japan TV is crazy," according to Irwin.
He followed that up with sharing he heard his band's song on the TV in Japan.
Irwin also got super touristy since he posed next to some Coca-Cola vending machines.
He also showed off his soup sipping skills.
Hood revealed a photo with Hemmings of them wearing bibs at a restaurant.
"Haven't stopped smiling since landing here," Clifford gushed.
He even showed off his "ninja headband".
He divulged he's "absolutely and utterly in love with Japan."
He even shared he's downloading a bunch of apps on his phone to help him learn Japanese.
The band even went to a cat café, which is a very popular thing to do in Japan, but "the cats didn't like them" apparently.
Niall Horan from 1D cannot wait to catch up with 5SOS so there will surely be more photos and tweets to come from their Japan trip.
