Lindsay Lohan, Elizabeth Taylor: Lifetime Premieres First "Liz and Dick" Trailer [VIDEO]
As has become the norm, Lindsay Lohan's professional endeavors have taken a back seat to her personal life, but fans got a small reminder this week that Lohan is in fact an actress.
The Lifetime network premiered the first teaser trailer for "Liz and Dick," the upcoming biopic in which Lohan plays one of the most famous celebrities of all time, Elizabeth Taylor.
The clip is only 26 seconds long but it's the first bit of Lohan's performance anyone has seen beyond still photos released by Lifetime. Scroll down to check out the "Liz and Dick" teaser below.
The teaser isn't exactly a showcase of Lohan, though. The actress speaks only once during the video, when someone asks her, "You've just ended your fourth marriage?" Lohan's Taylor snaps back, "Who's counting?"
The new teaser is the latest in Lifetime's slow marketing campaign to promote "Liz and Dick," which premieres Nov. 3. The network released the first stills from the film late last month and debuted the movie's poster just this week.
But "Liz and Dick" is likely the last thing on Lohan's mind right now. The actress is mired in yet another legal drama after having possibly grazed a man's leg with her car at New York City's Dream Hotel this week.
Reports said Lohan drove up to the hotel in a Porsche Cayenne just after midnight and hit a nearby man at a slow speed as she was turning into a parking garage. She was arrested upon exiting the hotel for leaving the scene of the accident.
Surveillance video has surfaced that brings the events into question, as the "injured" man was able to chase after Lohan's car following the incident. Police said they are presently investigating the accident, and Lohan is waiting to see if the arrest will affect her probation.
