5 Seconds of Summer 2015: Band Thanks Tokyo For Great First Headlining Gig, ‘We Love You’ [PHOTOS, VIDEO]
The guys of 5 Seconds of Summer are currently in Japan and they just played their first ever headlining gig there.
5 Seconds of Summer Lands In Japan
Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford played a headlining gig in Tokyo on Feb. 25 (it's officially Feb. 26 over there now).
This gig was not only their first headlining gig, but it was sold out too, which they shared their excitement over earlier this month.

5 Seconds of Summer's Ashton Irwin Has Mixed Emotions About Upcoming Japan Trip
The band shot a quick video before the gig of the pretty empty venue as they prepared for the sold out crowd.
"It's going to be awesome," Irwin shared in the video and sure enough he was right.

After the show came to a close the 5SOS members took to Twitter to share a photo from their memorable headlining gig and said, "WE LOVE YOU!" to the Tokyo crowd that came to see them.

Irwin revealed the gig was "party central" and thanked fans once more for coming to see him and his bandmates.

Clifford revealed the headlining gig made him "love Japan even MORE."
Hemmings also revealed his love for Tokyo by tweeting, "Thank you for tonight".
The 5SOS guys have a few more gigs in Japan, but they're not headlining them. They're acting as the support act for One Direction's On the Road Again Tour from Feb. 27 through Mar. 2.
