'RuPaul' Season 7 Contestant Katya Says Her Genitalia Is 'Dirty & Disgusting'
Being in drag ain't easy! During the Season 7 premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race at L.A.'s Mayan Theater, the new queens took the opportunity to tell Enstars what they feel drag performers must always have hidden away.
For Kandy Ho, the most important products are her lashes, nails and hip pads. While Tempest Dujour loves her Red Bull, Pearl and Trixie Mattel had a similar and simpler response: chewing gum.

"A drag queen needs to stash away lip gloss," Sasha Belle started. "She needs to stash away a minion to zip her up. And she needs to stash away her penis."
For Max, "a good imagination, lipstick and a good lace front wig," are all she needs. "All it really takes for me is the wig and the lipstick and seeing myself in a different light!"
Other cast members revealed items that are more bizarre. It turns out Katya's go-to items are "jello...rope...and a horseshoe."
Miss Fame notes that when it comes to donning drag wear, a great look requires "foundation garments and a sickening wig...I mean, it's all about the look. You got to show up to the gig, you got to be put together before the show."
Former contestant Shangela swears by "lip gloss, lashes and a taser, honey, 'cause it's a dangerous out there in the world today! You have to be on your guard always and forever."
Violet Chachki explained that a queen needs "confidence, duct tape and poppers." The best way, as she sees it, to break into drag is "to get really drunk and run around in a dress at like four in the morning for like a month straight," she said.
What about the folks behind the scene? Pit crew member Jason Carter admits some of these competitors have more tricks to their trade.
"Flippers--those fake teeth you put on, also known as ga-dentures. Some drag queens wear those. You'd be surprised."
Carter also shared one important rule of drag: "If you're going to lip-sync, know the effing words."
Pit crew member Bryce Eilenberg pointed out what might be three of the most important things of all: a drag queen must always keep her male sex organ stashed away. But what's really special is the ability to believe in yourself.
"With a tuck, you got to have that stashed away- number one of course," Eilenberg said. "Number two--a good set of eyeliner because that's very vital. And number three--you got to have inner confidence every time you put on drag. That's really inspiring to me."
RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7 premieres on Monday, March 2 at 9 p.m. ET on Logo TV.
