According to event planner Jim Broutman, the Vanderpump Rules star wasn't the bridezilla she's been made out to be.
"Just for the record I worked with @scheanamarie on her wedding and she was the furthest thing from a bridezilla!" Broutman wrote on Twitter on Tuesday. "She's a sweetheart!" A short time later, Marie, who married Mike Shay in July 2013, re-tweeted the message to her own fans.

In an interview with Wetpaint Entertainment earlier this week, Marie's day-of coordinator spoke out about Marie's behavior at the wedding, claiming she was unrealistic in thinking everything would go as planned.
“Scheana had the choice to do her wedding on the show or not on the show and she chose to put it on the show," Danielle Rothweiler explained. "I would think she’d be used to production and things not starting on time, but it seems to really bother her. She’s been on this show for three seasons now…she should know how this works.”
Rothweiler also claimed Marie was more irate than any bride she's dealt with.
"In eight years I’ve never had a bride angry with me — especially at that level," she added.
