During an episode of Fashion Police, Rancic made a 'racist' comment about Coleman's Oscar hairstyle saying her hair looked like it smelt like "patchouli oil or weed."
Coleman attended the Oscars on Feb. 22. sporting a deadlocks look, and after Rancic's comment, the actress took to Twitter to explain how negative stereotypes are not only ignorant but offensive.

Dear @Zendaya, I'm sorry I offended you and others. I was referring to a bohemian chic look. Had NOTHING to do with race and NEVER would!!!
