She had been in it for almost three weeks after being found unconscious in her bathtub in Atlanta on Jan. 31.
A member of the family told People magazine Thursday that Brown, the only daughter of late Whitney Houston and R&B icon Bobby Brown, had a scary relapse after being pulled from the coma.
"She was taken off the drugs, but she began having violent seizures. She is being put back in to a coma."
As for her father who is said to have been by her bedside since just after she was admitted, the insider continued, "Bobby is beside himself. Bobby is taking this so hard; he was sure this was going to be a good day."
They added that Bobbi's seizures were not at all what the family was expecting when they decided to take her off the coma.
"This is a horrible setback. Everyone was hopeful that this was the sign that she'd turn the corner. We were so optimistic."
The insider also asked fans and followers to simply keep the family in mnid.
"Please, everyone needs to pray for Krissi. I don't care what religion you are, or if you have no religion at all. Send your thoughts, your prayers, your well-wishes. Send everything you've got. Please."
The circumstances of Bobbi's condition have been described as eerie. She was found in bathtub just days before the third anniversary of her mother's death. Houston was also discovered in bathtub. Her death was ruled an accident.
