Ciara News 2015: Singer Cancels Australian Tour Dates After Angering Fans In New Zealand [VIDEO]
Ciara is definitely not having the best week. It looks as though her Down Under tour has so far been a disaster, as she has disappointed her fans in New Zealand after having only performed 10-minute concerts and now it looks like she's canceled dates in neighboring Australia as well.
Ciara Dishes On Her Relationship With Riccardo Tisci
According to RipItUp.com on Thursday, Ciara has canceled her appearance at the HQ Complex in Adelaide, Australia.
The site says that "false information on the artist booking contract" is the reason behind her cancellation, as Ciara herself had been "uninformed about contractual obligations such as meet and greets" before her tour.
Ciara Opens Up About Ex-Fiance Future
According to the New Zealand Herald on Wednesday, "false booking contracts" were also apparently made in her name. Promoters say that tickets were sold for shows in both New Zealand and Australia which "never existed" in the first place.
Her agent released a statement saying, "Castor & Ford the promoters would like to announce that they must cancel the Auckland show due to these issues ... and would like to apologize for any problems caused."
According to the New York Daily News on Friday, the single celebrity mother supposedly acting like a "diva" before her concert in Christchurch, New Zealand last week.
Ciara was supposed to perform a full set at Ilam Fields, where over 1,500 of her fans waited for her for almost two hours.
"It's just a lot of money for students and you expect someone to perform a good set," a local university student, Emily, who didn't want to give her last name, told Radio New Zealand News.
