No one has really noticed that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) hasn't been handling being single very well on The Bold and the Beautiful, but the way she is handling it will cause some to start expressing concern.

Brooke Makes A Scene At Katie & Bill's Wedding

Quinn (Rena Sofer) doesn't care for the most part about how Brooke behaves, provided it doesn't cause her to reach out to Deacon (Sean Kanan), and try to win him back. And though Deacon has sworn to Quinn that he loves her and only wants to be with her, she won't be able to help but wonder if Brooke's excessive drinking could be setting her romance up for failure.

"Deacon said she's been hitting the bottle," she tells Wyatt (Darin Brooks) in a preview clip for the Thursday, Feb. 26 episode. "I wonder what that's all about."

Brooke Has A Hard Time Coping

Brooke has been drinking rather heavily since her return from Italy, because she is for the first time, truly alone. Not only does she not have a man by her side, none of the ones who usually clamor for her attention want her anymore either-as they have all moved on with new relationships. Bill (Don Diamont) has reunited with and remarried Katie (Heather Tom), Deacon is with Quinn, and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) rejected Brooke in favor of his new romance with Caroline (Linsey Godfrey).

And even though there are some who are potentially concerned about her and want to make sure she's okay, Brooke will continue to cover up her heartache by using booze to cope with her feelings.

"It's been a rough couple of weeks," Eric (John McCook) notes to Brooke in the preview clip.

"For all of us," she replies. "Not now, that out son is firmly in control," she replies.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
