Days after the awards show took place, the actress' pearl gown, which is worth a reported $150,000, mysteriously disappeared from her West Hollywood, Calif. hotel room.
"I can confirm a dress was stolen from the London Hotel that belonged to the actress Lupita Nyong'o," a spokesperson from the Los Angeles sheriff's department told Us Weekly on Thursday. "We believe it was taken sometime during the day yesterday (2/25). We are looking at every scenario; when the cleaners go to clean the rooms they do it with the door open so that's a possibility."

According to the magazine, Nyong'o's Calvin Klein halter dress was created by Francisco Costa and included a whopping 6,000 pearls.
"Currently we are still investigating, detectives are interviewing and looking for witnesses," the spokesperson added.
