Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart Reconcile? Stewart Attends LA Dinner Without "Twilight" Co-Star
Robert Pattinson has stepped out publicly for the first time since his rumored reconciliation with Kristen Stewart.
To the disappointment of "Twi-hards", the British hunk attended a charity event without Stewart.
Pattinson attended the L.A. Dance Project dinner in Los Angeles on Saturday, Sept. 22. The event was held at Disney Hall and sponsored by Van Cleef and Arpels.
"For all the Robert Pattinson fans," one fan wrote on Twitter, "he's wearing Gucci and drinking Amstel Light @vancleefarpels dinner tonight at Disney Hall."
The 26-year-old was handsome in a dark suit with Black shirt. The "Cosmopolis" star posed for photos with actress Natalie Portman and dancer Dita Von Teese.
Portman was there to support her husband Benjamin Millipied who founded The L.A. Dance Project. The event was sponsored by Van Cleef and Arpels.
One report suggested Pattinson and Stewart may be holding off stepping out publicly together until November when it is time to promote the final "Twilight" film before its release Nov. 16.
It was reported on Aug. 29 that Summit was secretly hoping the "Twilight" co-stars would get back together again.
The executives were reportedly holding off finalizing press dates to promote the movie in hopes that Pattinson might forgive Stewart for cheating on him with "Snow White and the Huntsman" film director Rupert Sanders
A Los Angeles-based eyewitness revealed nonchalantly on Twitter recently that she saw the two "Twilight" stars together in a car in the Sherman Oaks area in Los Angeles.
"Just saw Robert Pattinson driving next to me in Sherman Oaks," @CookedKitfo tweeted on Sept. 19.
When she was asked to confirm if it was Stewart he was with, she tweeted, "yea it was that kristen girl," the "main girl from twilight."
A source told People magazine that Stewart and Pattinson held a meeting in-person to discuss patching things up on Saturday, Sept. 15. An insider close to the situation told the magazine that the pair will "be a couple again."
Supported claims were made earlier by The Sun. A source told the British tabloid that the 22-year-old and 26-year-old have reconciled and are now back together again. Pattinson has forgiven the beautiful brunette for her "really stupid mistake."
