Carrie Underwood News: Childhood Photo Proves 'Little Toy Guns' Singer Was Destined To Be A Star? [VIDEO]
It would seem that Carrie Underwood has always wanted to be a singer.
Carrie Underwood Banned By Radio Station Because Of Husband
The country singer, who emerged as a vying contestant on Fox's American Idol and went on to become one of the hottest stars in the business, knew she liked music early on.
Recently Taste Of Country shared side-by-side photos of the Little Toy Guns singer as a kid and as an adult. As it turns out, the images are very similar.
Why Carrie Underwood Might Have Secretly Given Birth
On the left a little Carrie, who looked no older than five, stood in straight blonde pigtails with a set of large headphones over her ears as she sang directly into the headphone chord just like she was rocking her very own stage.
Based on the right-hand photo, Underwood traded in that chord for a real microphone and pig-tails for a longer, more glamorous look. That proud twinkle hasn't left her eyes, however, proving some things never change.
This year, Underwood is expected to give birth to her own little rock star. She and husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators, will welcome their first son this spring.
Underwood first announced the pregnancy back in September, though she's kept the exact due date a secret as to keep the event as private as possible for her growing family. The singer has, however, been pretty open about the naming of her little guy. It would seem she and Fisher have had trouble coming up with a moniker for their son.
As a result, they've decided to wait until the boy is born before deciding on a moniker.
