'Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars" Season 15 Premiere 2012: Which Star Almost Cried? Who Was The Worst?
On the season premiere of "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars," some celebrities performed better than others and got rave reviews from the judges. Sports legend Emmett Smith, who was nicknamed "Twinkle Toes" when he was last on the show, got the highest score of the night: 24.5 out of 30.
However, some other stars failed to impress and one in particular, disappointed in herself, admitted on camera to almost crying after she received the lowest score of the night - 17 out of 30.
Former "Baywatch" star and celebrity icon Pamela Anderson said she feels like an "underdog" on the show, especially because she is one of two contestants to never make it to the finals before. She was on season 10 of the show and left somewhat early on. Her Cha-cha-cha on Monday night got one of the judges, Bruno Tonioli to say, "you're a performer but not enough work there for me to praise you. You are very entertaining but you need to work harder."
She scored 5.5,5.5,6 (17 out of 30) and afterwards said, "I don't want to be the first one to cry on 'Dancing with the Stars,' " though she looked like she was going to.
The second lowest score was given to Kristie Alley, who is partnered with professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The pair came in second place in their former season and Alley said she "developed a great friendship" with her partner. However, though their Foxtrot on Monday night's premiere was called beautiful and sensual by judge Carrie Ann Inaba, it was said to need refining.
Alley scored 6.5,6 and 6.5 (19 out of 30).
(side note: Alley kissed the show's host, Tom Bergeron, on the lips when he asked her to go get her scores.)
