It appears that one of the main characters from Finding Carter will be connected to the harrowing storyline of the kidnapping.

On Thursday, the series' Twitter page posted a brief sneak peek of the new season where Carter is running away from Lori in a field. The fake mom is trying to stop her from getting away where she tackles her down and tells her something pretty intriguing.
"I can't let yo go until you and Taylor know the truth," Lori says.

As Carter calms herself, she asks the mysterious question: "What does Taylor have to do with anything?"
This is a good question since Carter's twin sister didn't have that much of a connection in the storyline of the kidnapping. David and Elizabeth seem like they're hiding something, but why is Taylor important to the situation?

In a recent video, Kathryn Prescott (Carter) read a fan's theory on Lori and David's possible history that led to the teen girl being taken away as a child. According to this fan, David used to be a teacher where Lori was his student. Even though he was married, he started having an affair with her.
The theory continues with David finding out that his wife is pregnant so he breaks it off with Lori. She then took his daughter away so she could always have a piece of her lover with her.
