Just when fans thought the debut season of Fox's Empire couldn't get more explosive, fans' minds will be blown in the next episode.

The teaser for Sins Of The Father has just been released. While Andre played it safe in the background during the beginning of the season, his issues are taking the spotlight of the mega popular series.

Cookie finds out that he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She takes some of the guilt upon herself and apologizes to her oldest son for not being a good support for him while she was beyond bars for his entire childhood.

The two seem to be on the path to building a great bond. But Lucious is another story. He refuses to accept the idea of any of his sons, let alone Andre, suffering from a mental illness. He risks sending Andre back over the edge when he doesn't visit him.

Jennifer Hudson stars in the series as a singer in a mental institute's music therapy division. But she and Andre look like they're going to get extra close and maybe even break "hospital rules" as she leans in to kiss him in the teaser.

Viewers can only imagine how livid his wife, Rhonda, would be if she finds out Andre is even eyeing another woman with actual emotion.

Another potential couple sparks in this episode - Cookie and Lucious' new lead security guard, played by Derek Luke. Lucious clearly feels a way when he sees the love of his life cozying up to another man. But Cookie doesn't care.

Jamal is set on raising his daughter, just as her mother, Olivia (Raven-Symone) returns.

A synopsis explains:

"Andre forms a new musical relationship with Michelle (guest star Jennifer Hudson), and a woman from Lucious' past, Angie (guest star Mary J Blige), comes into the picture. Meanwhile, Lucious invites the whole family over to his home. However, everyone arrives with their own agendas. Hakeem, under the influence of Camilla (guest star Naomi Campbell), sets out to show his father that he's a true artist and a good businessman. Then, Cookie prepares to state her own agenda for Empire and for her family, when Olivia (guest star Raven-Symoné) arrives in the all-new 'Sins Of The Father' episode of Empire on Wednesday, March 11."

Empire airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Fox.
