'Empire' Fox Show: 'Saturday Night Live' Mocks Series, Brings On New Character For 'White America' [VIDEO
'Empire' has hit a new level of success as Saturday Night Live had a funny parody of the hit Fox series in the latest episode.
The show featured a "sneak peek" of in which SNL vet Kenan Thompson plays Lucious Lyon, who is originally portrayed by Terrence Howard.
He goes as far as imitating Lucious' infamous shaky voice and says, "This is my kingdom. As long as I'm alive it will stand. Also, I'm dying."
Thompson's co-star Sasheer Zamata has the role of fan favorite Cookie (Taraji P. Henson).

The narrator then says that while Empire has dominated Black America, it didn't forget about White America, and brought on a new role - a man named Chip (portrayed by Chris Hemsworth), who's going to be the office manager.
He doesn't get off to a great start as he asks, "Does anybody do any work around here?"
Cookie throws something at him before demanding, "Take a dip, Chip!"
Michael Che plays Hakeem instead of Bryshere Gray. He raps Hakeem's biggest hit "Drip, Drop, Drip Drippity Drop."
But even he doesn't know what it means and asks, "What am I saying? What am I saying? Seriously..."
Leslie Jones also joins as Porsha while Jay Pharaoh plays Jamal.
They even replay the scene in which Cookie beat Hakeem with a broom after he insulted her. She mimicks the line, "I want some respect!"
Right on cue Chip walks in and sees the altercation. He quickly backs out before being noticed.
