After learning both her daughters were no more than a block away from her in New York, Ava Jerome (Maura West) became more determined than ever to try and reunite with them-but her hopes for the future will all come crashing down instead on General Hospital.

Ava Makes A Bold Decision

Ava is presumed dead by everyone except Silas (Michael Easton) and her mother, Delia (Ilene Kristen), who know she's alive. Because the search for her after she was shot by Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) and fell off a bridge was called off, her daughter, Kiki (Hayley Erin) teamed up with everyone else and threw Ava a memorial service-not knowing her mother was actually right outside listening to the things everyone said about her.

Now, after briefly reuniting with her mother and her infant daughter, Avery, Ava has decided she needs to find some kind of plan that allows her to remain with her children, and was in the process of formulating one when Silas shocked her with the truth-she survived her accidents-but was still dying.

Ava Is Alive

Now, Ava will find out why she may not have much longer to live-and will be stunned that Silas didn't share the news with her earlier. And, depending on how long she potentially has left, it could mptivate her even more to try and see her children one last time-despite Silas' demands she stay confined to her secret hospital room.

If Silas does comply with Ava's request however, it will give her a chance to give her daughters a proper goodbye before she truly is gone for good.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
