Reese Witherspoon Baby Boy Born, Gave Birth To Third Child
Actress Reese Witherspoon delivered a baby boy on Thursday, Sept. 27.
The "Legally Blonde" actress welcomed her third child, Tennessee James - the first child with her second husband, talent agent James Toth.
"Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcomed Tennessee James into their family today," her publicist told PEOPLE in a statement. "Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled."
Tennessee James joins two older siblings: her two daughters, Ava, 13 and Deacon, 8, both from her first marriage to actor Ryan Phillipe.
Witherspoon married Toth at their vacation ranch in Ojai, California in March 2011. A source close to the actress told People Witherspoon was eager to have another child back in March.
"Right after the wedding, Reese expressed a desire to have a baby with Jim," said the source. "Reese has been very open with her kids about her plans to expand the family."
It was reported in March that Witherspoon was pregnant with her third child, according to a report from Us Weekly magazine. Witherspoon was reportedly "around 12 weeks" at the time, according to an anonymous source. But a representative of the actress declined to issue an official comment.
Speculation first arose after pictures were taken of the actress wearing a loose-fitting dress.
