Blue Ivy Shoes, Beyonce & Jay-Z Order Almost $800 Custom Shoes For Hip-Hop's First Daughter [PHOTO]
The daughter of hip-hop's first couple, Blue Ivy, already has a penchant for her mother's taste in high-end footwear.
Ruthie Davis, a shoe designer whose line has been worn by the likes of Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and Miley Cyrus, posted a picture on her company's Facebook page of rhinestone-studded booties custom made for Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy.
"Pssssst! Take a look at the Baby Ruthie's I made especially for Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy...
SO Sweet, right?," wrote Davis on Monday, Sept. 24.
The Facebook post featured pink leather and suede custom booties bedazzled with pastel pink & blue rhinestones.
According to a report, the booties for the nine-month-old will run the Grammy-winning couple a whopping $798.
It is no surprise that the "Love On Top" singer would expect nothing but the best for her first child. When baby Blue Ivy was spotted shopping with her mother at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City in July, the sighting trended on Twitter.
A fan casually snapped a pic of the famous mother carrying her child.
@Kelsi Rosenberg tweeted, "Casually walking by Beyonce and Blue Ivy in Bergdorfs! #notreallife"
"It's cool. Just shopping next to Beyonce at Bergdorf, baby on her hip. No entourage. She winked at me, no s--t," tweeted @NikiEnglish.
On Aug. 30 Jay -Z was photographed carrying his precious daughter as they exited a helicopter in New York. The rap mogul was protectively carrying his then 8-month-old, who was sporting a pair of blue headphones to protect her little ears from the loud noise from the helicopter propellers.
The photos show a smiling Carter looking down at his daughter as he clutches her close to his chest. The "Otis" rapper was also seen carrying their daughter on a yacht in France on Tuesday, Sept. 4 for his wife's 31st birthday.
Beyonce has been a client of Davis' for several years. Davis' website boasts dozens of photographs of A-list stars wearing her shoes to high profile events, including one fo Beyonce at a recent United Nations event.
Davis launched her line in 2006. It is designed in New York and produced in Italy. Her website states her shoe line is known for its "architectural shapes and luxurious mix of materials...and a vivid color palette" and her collaboration line with Swarovski called "Sparkling Contrasts" was recently showcased at a ceremony in Beijing.
