Fans are still going to have to wait to get a first true glimpse at their little girl, but Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes did finally bring the little girl out in public for the first time.

The couple was spotted out celebrating Mendes' 41st birthday last week at a party with friends and family-and a covered baby carriage was walked into the event venue by a mystery woman, presumably carrying the couple's six-month-old little girl, Esmeralda Amada.
The couple was spotted walking into Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, an L.A. suburb on Mendes' birthday, for the birthday bash Gosling threw his girlfriend, and the actor was also spotted outside later as he welcomed friends and family to the event, and also helped orchestrate loading presents and decorations into some waiting vehicles later on during the night.

When the couple arrived at the event however, they were followed by the mystery woman, who held the baby carrier, which was covered by a blue baby blanket with basketballs and soccer balls on it-perhaps an effort by the couple to try and keep their daughter's presence at the event secretive, hinting that an unknown baby boy was being brought in instead.
The notoriously private couple, who is rarely even spotted in public together, have been trying extremely hard since their daughter was born to keep her shielded from the press, which led to many wondering if they had split-something that was later denied and revealed to be a plot the couple had put into place to keep paparazzi away from their daughter.
The rumors started at the time because Mendes never made visits to Gosling as he filmed scenes for The Nice Guys across the country in Atlanta, Ga.
"Ryan and Eva are super-super-private. The last thing they'd do is bring a baby, who's barely 3 months old, to a film set teeming with paparazzi," sources said at the time. "Ryan specifically wanted it like this-with paps following him in Atlanta, they're mostly leaving Eva and the baby alone."
