'Finding Carter' Season 2: Taylor Will 'Act Out' On Her Emotions As Viewers Start To Understand Lori Better? [VIDEO]
New details have been released on the second season of Finding Carter- some that are pretty shocking.
Is Taylor Connected To The Kidnapping On 'Finding Carter?'
On Monday, Entertainment Weekly spoke to series showrunner Emily Whitesell who gave plenty of information on several of the characters. One of the main things she mentioned was that with all the drama taking place, Taylor is not going to be handling this well- or even at all.
"Taylor's confused, upset, and you'll see her starting to act out on this behavior, not understanding what's happening to her," Whitesell revealed.
Is Season 2 Of 'Finding Carter' Going To Be Similar To The First Season?
The showrunner added that audiences will notice how Taylor and Carter differ when it comes to situations that seem impossible to get through.
"Carter, because she's so different from Taylor in so many ways personality-wise, is more equipped to handle that and help Taylor get through that," Whitesell said. "I thought it'd be a great juxtaposition dramatically to see how tough Carter is- she's got a real tough skin, and Taylor simply does not."
Another thing that viewers will discover is that Lori may not be such a bad guy after all. Her role is expected to be much bigger this season with more of an understanding on why she's the way she is.
"Lori will play an enormous role, and we're going to do a big story on mental illness," Whitesell said. "Carter really is going to try to wrap her mind around understanding her and even trying to help her."
Whitesell also said Lori "truly believes that when the truth comes out, people will start to understand what she's done."
Finding Carter Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, March 31 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
