Mindy Kaling Opens Up About On-Screen Pregnancy In 'The Mindy Project'
On Monday, TVGuide reported that everyone might finally get to know Mindy's parents.
Neither the audience nor longtime boyfriend and now baby daddy, Danny, have met the Lahiris that raised Mindy Lahiri, but it looks like that's about to change.
When the show introduced Danny's estranged father and his judgemental mother, it finally set up a meeting between Danny and the Lahiris.
Apparently, though, there may be some issues as Danny decides to stand up their baby's grandparents about something which leaves Mindy asking Peter for advice.
This issue will seem small to Mindy as she soon after finds out that her doctor has diagnosed her with Preeclampsia, which is a fancy word for high blood pressure. For someone being an OB/GYN, Lahiri seems pretty out of touch with her pregnancy and diagnosis.
But Danny's no-show to dinner definitely don't help the situation. Odds are pretty likely that there will be laughs to follow.
For those who aren't familiar, Mindy Kaling plays a young Ob/Gyn doctor who is followed as she balances her personal and professional life, surrounded by comical co-workers in a small office, according to IMDb.
