NCIS fans are still reeling over Ziva David's (Cote de Pablo) departure.

Pauley Perrette Loves Portraying Abby On 'NCIS'

De Pablo left the show in 2013, appearing for one last time in Season 11's second episode.

Many fans were outraged by the loss of her character, but Emily Wickersham stepped in to fill the void as Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop.

Pauley Perrette, who portrays the quirky Abby Sciuto on the series, had to defend Wickersham last month on Twitter since fans of the show have continued to be rather rude about her and her character joining the series.

Perrette had to reiterate to fans that "Cote left. On her own, it SUCKED, but we have Em."

Michael Weatherly, who plays Tony DiNozzo, even has gotten involved in the heated tension over the loss of de Pablo and her beloved character Ziva.

Back in January, a fan of the show remarked Weatherly "deserves whatever people throw at him".

That fan's tweet led to other fans tweeting that the actor "doesn't care about fans' hurt feelings" over his character moving on since he appeared to develop romantic feelings for Ziva prior to her departure.

Weatherly told these fans to take "deep breaths," which led to another fan asking what exactly he meant by that comment while adding a quote from the actor when he previously commented on "Tiva".

"We all have opinions..." Weatherly shared and the discussion seemed to die out, but reignited last month when another fan got involved, but this time they defended Weatherly claiming it's not his fault "Tiva" never happened.

On Tuesday, Weatherly had to explain the history of his character and de Pablo's character.

"Tony & Ziva never were a couple seasons 3-10," he shared, adding, "Coworkers, friends and ‪#starcrossed yes, People project onto it".

NCIS airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
