Officers arrived on the scene at Mick's Clive, Iowa home in Wednesday morning after what is believed to be a drunken fight which ultimately turned bloody. According to Billboard on Thursday, police have confirmed that the fight began inside, where most of the violence occurred, and then moved out to the front yard. Mick, 41, suffered a stab wound to the head, while his brother, Andrew Thomson, 35, also sustained serious injuries.

The brothers were rushed to the hospital following the incident and while the brawl had been quite serious, none of the injuries sustained by either brother have been deemed life-threatening.

On Wednesday afternoon Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor promised to find out exactly what had happened and tweeted later that day that Mick is doing "okay" in the hospital. He also thanked fans for their support and said he would pass along their thoughts.

Slipknot is currently on break from their Prepare For Hell Tour, which is scheduled to resume in Florida on April 25. They are also planning another tour, Summer's Last Stand, which will also begin in Florida on July 24.

It is uncertain at this time whether or not the knife fight will ultimately impact either of these tours.
