Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth: Singer Apologizes to Boyfriend via Twitter
After Liam Hemsworth told overzealous tweeting fiance, Miley Cyrus, to stop oversharing on the social networking site, Cyrus did the unthinkable: she apologized ... over Twitter.
Cyrus was asked by Hemsworth to delete her Twitter account after she ranted about what seemed to be their relationship over Twitter, HollywoodLife reported.
On Sept. 29, Cyrus tweeted, "Why do I torture myself and what ps I love you. ahhhhhh. I have got to pull it together."
The tweets in question were posted on Sept. 13 when Cyrus expressed she needed more passion in her life and wrote that she gives more love than she receives.
Below are Cyrus's series of tweets:
"ever feel like you want just.... something more. not sure what exactly... passion perhaps?"
"sometimes i feel like i love everyone more than they love me. hatttte that feeling."
"Thought of the day: maybe it's not that they love you less, they just love you the most they are capable of long."
But then she assured her followers that nothing is wrong between her and Hemsworth.
"& no there is not trouble in paradise.... just thoughts."
Hemsworth, however, thought the tweets -- like virtually everyone else -- were directed toward him, and he told Cyrus he doesn't want her using Twitter at all.
"Miley's tweet was such a huge insult to Liam. She tried to pass it off like it had nothing to do with him, but it totally affected him, no matter what she tries to say," an insider told HollywoodLife. "She was trying to get his attention, but she just ended up making him pull away from her more. He thinks she's acting like an immature schoolgirl, and he wants her to get off Twitter completely."
Three hours after her Twitter rant, Cyrus was happy to announce, "having some quality fiancé time. just what I needed ❤"
This isn't the first time Hemsworth asked her to curb her tweeting habit. Cyrus deleted her account in 2009 due to his request.
"FYI Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason," Cyrus tweeted at the time. "It wasn't because my friend told me to. I stopped living for moments and started living for people."
