William Shatner spent his Monday night on Twitter showing his enthusiasm for The CW's The Originals.
Things Get 'Nuts' For Rebekah On 'The Originals'
Shatner has a Twitter history with Supernatural's Misha Collins, which seems to be extending to Supernatural alum and The Originals star Sebastian Roche.
In fact, Roche, who plays Mikael on The Originals, even suggested Shatner come onboard and join the series, insisting that he would make the "best" vampire.

The former Star Trek star had boasted his excitement for the show's return earlier that evening and went on to post over 30 messages during the show's hour long episode. During this time Shatner lended his support for stars Daniel Gillies (Elijah) and Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley), which delighted series creator Julie Plec.

So will Shatner accept Roche's invitation? Will he guest star on the series? Shatner live-tweets a lot of television shows, but perhaps a fondness for this one in particular might just sway him.
The Originals will continue on The CW with its second season Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
