She was more confident than ever that she still had control over DiMera Enterprises, but Kate (Lauren Koslow) is about to learn just how badly she was played by Chad (Billy Flynn) on Days of Our Lives.

John Gives Paul A Reason To Stay In Salem

After he came back to town and replaced Sami as Kate's co-CEO, he swore his allegiance to Kate and vowed to help her keep his father, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) not only away because of the tax evasion charges he was facing, but also from taking the CEO position away from her. For months he has been seeming to work with Kate on everything, without undermining her.

However, Kate will now learn at a Board meeting for the company that Chad had actually done nothing of the sort-and was secretly in contact with his father the entire time-working to not only undermine her, but possibly overthrow her as well in an effort to put the company back into solely DiMera ownership. Not only will Kate be blindsided when she realizes the scheme that was enacted against her, she will be heartbroken if she learns she has now lost all power and control as well.

Meanwhile, her grandson, Will (Guy Wilson) is beginning to work on his blackmail scheme to get Paul (Christopher Sean) out of Salem before Sonny (Freddie Smith) comes home-and he has potentially found the perfect way to do it.

While snooping around in the hopes of finding something to hold over Paul, he came across a photograph of Paul's mother, Tori (Hira Amrbosino), on the north side of the Salem lake, near the DiMera boathouse, meaning she had been in Salem once before. Armed with the photo which proves she is hiding something big, Will heads over to her hotel room to use her for his purposes-get Paul out of Salem, or risk having whatever her secret is exposed to the world.
