'Finding Carter' Season 2 Spoilers: New Theory Says That Lori Could've Had A Miscarriage Leading To The Kidnapping [VIDEO]
There's a new theory going around on Finding Carter with new insight on the secret behind David and Lori.
Was Lori One Of David's Students On 'Finding Carter?'
On Tuesday, a video was released that shows Kathryn Prescott (Carter) reading a story from a fan who came up with an idea on how the whole kidnapping of the main character got started on the series.
The fan suggested that Carter's father, David, and her kidnapper, Lori, could've dated at one point where he got her pregnant. This led to a miscarriage that David did not know about. He and Lori ended their relationship where he started dating Elizabeth (Carter's real mother). When she got pregnant, Lori stalked them out of jealousy and stole their baby to replace the one she lost. She spent the first few years of Carter's life preparing the kidnapping and took her when she was three-years-old.

This is only a theory, but it might be something worth thinking about. If this is true, then it leaves some other questions, including why Lori would've taken Carter, but not her twin sister, Taylor. Plus, is there something that David and Elizabeth are hiding?
Series showrunner Emily Whitesell recently told Entertainment Weekly that Taylor will start to act out on her emotions. She also explained how Taylor differs from her twin sister.
"Carter, because she's so different from Taylor in so many ways personality-wise, is more equipped to handle that and help Taylor get through that," Whitesell said. "I thought it'd be a great juxtaposition dramatically to see how tough Carter is- she's got a real tough skin, and Taylor simply does not."
Finding Carter Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, March 31 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
