Cat Deeley Wedding: Patrick Kielty Marries 'So You Think You Can Dance' Host
Cat Deeley wed comedian Patrick Kielty in a surprise wedding in Rome on Saturday, Sept. 29.
The "So You Think You Can Dance" host had her nuptials held at St. Isidore's College Church in Rome, Italy.
"It was the most beautiful, gorgeous, chic and romantic wedding I've ever been to," a source close to Deeley told US Weekly. "The whole thing was sprung on the guests at the last minute, but you can tell a lot of time had gone in to the planning."
Deeley reportedly wore flowers in her hair and walked down the aisle in a beautiful ruffled dress.
Deeley wore a "gorgeous" dress "with ruffles all the way down," the source added. "She looked like a goddess!"
"It finished before midnight and everyone was civilized and well behaved," a second source said. "It wasn't a wild party."
"We only found out at the last minute. It was a really perfect day," another source told The Mirror.
Kielty's family parish priest, Father Gary Donegan, flew to Rome to officiate the top secret ceremony before sixty guests, comprised of close friends and family.
"It was a very intimate service with just 60 friends and family," an eye witness told The Sun. "Cat was stunning and she looked absolutely beautiful, and the reception afterwards was pretty quiet by normal standards."
The couple began dating around December, 2011.
The British beauty originally met the Irish star in 2002 when they filmed a reality show together for the BBC network, "Fame Academy."
The wedding was a surprise to insiders- one month ago the comedian reportedly denied the couple was engaged after they went public in May. Kielty joined Deeley at the 2012 Primetime Emmys on Sept. 23.
The season 9 finale of "So You Think You Can Dance" aired on Tuesday, Sept. 18. The show guest starred Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen and Nigel Lythgoe.
