Jamie Dornan says that despite rumors to the contrary, his wife Amelia Warner has no problem seeing him play Christian Grey on the big screen for the megahit film 50 Shades of Grey. The Irish hunk opened up about his wife in a new interview, while also defending his on-screen chemistry with his co-star, Dakota Johnson.

According to the Daily Mail (via Gossip Cop) over the weekend, Dornan dismissed rumors that his wife was upset that he took on the role of the sex-crazed Christian Grey and that he's signed on for two more 50 Shades films as well.

He told the site that rumors of his marriage being in trouble were "utter rubbish" and "total b-----ks."

Dornan said, "Of course she would have read the scripts well in advance, and she's massively supportive of Fifty Shades."

As far as those critics saying that he has no chemistry with his co-star Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele in the films, he said, "They wouldn't have shot the film with us if there was a chemistry problem... whatever chemistry means. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a part like this, and they simply wouldn't have cast us."

According to Britain's Mirror.co.uk, Dornan is keen on starring as Christian Grey again for the next film, despite rumors that Warner felt uncomfortable with her husband in such a sex-filled movie.

A source close to the actor told the site, "Jamie has signed the deal and he's thrilled, the money on offer was just too good. He's been really worried that he will get typecast as Christian Grey and it will do his long-term career ambitions damage."

So far, there haven't been any reports that confirm that Dornan will be back for the two remaining 50 Shades films, although insiders say there is a good chance that he will reprise his role.
