Sean Murray is clearing up an NCIS rumor and talks about guest stars.

McGee Gets Jealous On Upcoming Episode Of 'NCIS'

NCIS is wrapping the month of March with two more new episodes coming on the 24th and 31st. In these new episodes there will be quite a few quest stars.

Murray, who portrays Timothy McGee on the series, had to clear up a huge rumor about his costar Michael Weatherly (Tony DiNozzo on the series) leaving.

Delilah Returns On 'NCIS' To Work With The Team On A Case

On Sunday, a fan asked Murray via Twitter if Weatherly was getting written out of the show.

"[I]f you listen to all the rumors that float around it'll drive you crazy. that said, no, Michael is not being written out ;)", Murray shared, putting a stop to the rumor.

That sparked another fan to comment saying Delilah (Margo Harshman) needs to be written out. This fan thinks McGee belongs with Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette).

Delilah will actually return in the episode airing on March 24.

Murray replied to the fan who wants Delilah gone.

"they're not writing out Delilah (not if I have anything to say about it)", he tweeted.

That led to another fan asking Murray if he has any say as an actor into the guest stars' characters staying on the series or not.

Murray revealed that he does "get some input, especially if the character is 'tied' tone of the main characters or affects that character."

NCIS airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
