The Aussies of 5 Seconds of Summer are still working on their forthcoming album.

The band is currently in Los Angeles where they are continuing to work on their next studio album.
On Monday via Twitter, Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Luke Hemmings clued their fans in on their excitement over the new music.

Last Wednesday, the Madden brothers, Benji and Joel, joined Hemmings and Clifford for a writing session. Producer Mike Green was also present for this session!
Clifford appeared to be really happy with the end result from their writing session.

The Madden brothers' happened to celebrate their 36th birthday with the two 5SOS members and Green, but Clifford did show he was beyond grateful for them partaking in a writing session on their birthday.
