Aaron Hernandez's Fiance Testifies In Court About The Murder Case

In the days leading up to Lloyd's death, a witness says that Patriots player seemed to be angry with Lloyd but he didn't say why.

On Wednesday, Sports Illustrated reported that witness Kwami Nicholas, a friend of the victim, says he saw Hernandez staring down Lloyd at Rumor Nightclub just days before he was murdered.

The witness recounted the night of Friday, June 14 when Hernandez and Lloyd were spotted out together at the nightclub. According to Nicholas, he noticed Hernandez when the disc jockey announced that the then football player was in the building.

Nicholas then went on to say what happened next saying Hernandez "was just standing there staring at Odin and [Lloyd's friend Glenroy Herbert]." Nicholas then said that Hernandez's "eyes were beaming at Odin and Glen."

The witness then said that Hernandez seemed angry and things were very tense but he had no explanation as for why Hernandez could have been upset with the two men.

Nicholas later added that Hernandez was seen storming out of the nightclub.

"He was walking real fast with his head down and he had the same grunt [as he had inside the nightclub]. He looked like he was mad, he was moving really fast."

Nicholas then recalled Lloyd and Hernandez exchanging words with each other outside of the nightclub.

"Hernandez was telling Odin to go talk to someone," he recalled "and he used an aggressive tone of voice" that was loud enough for people nearby to hear.

Based on their evidence, the prosecutors have concluded that Hernandez and his two friends, Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace, picked Lloyd up at his home in Boston, drove him to the industrial park, and shot him to death.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the charges surrounding both cases, and he currently remains in the jail without bail.
