Sofia Vergara Engagement: 'Modern Family' Actress Says She Wants Low-Key, Exotic Wedding With Fiance Nick Loeb
Just weeks after announcing her engagement, Sofia Vergara is already planning her upcoming nuptials with her fiancé, businessman Nick Loeb.
The "Modern Family" star dished about her wedding, her body and her personal life in the latest issue of Lucky magazine, which features Vergara on the cover.
The 40-year-old Colombian actress told the publication her wedding will most likely be low key yet exotic, and she hopes to hold the ceremony along with "a little dinner in Capri."
Loeb, 37, had the perfect proposal, complete with a flawless ring that was just the right size, Vergara said.
"It is perfection. If it was bigger, it would be too big to wear. But if it was smaller, I would not like," she said.
Although Vergara told Lucky her wedding will likely be somewhat understated, she admitted that her success on ABC's biggest sitcom has afforded her a luxurious lifestyle that she is not embarrassed to enjoy.
"I looovve luxury. I love yachts. I love planes. I love trips. I can live without all of them, and I have, but I am not going to apologize and pretend I don't love luxury, because I do," Vergara said.
Vergara also dished to the magazine about her famous curves, saying that her 32F bust is a blessing, but it can also be cumbersome at times, and she plans to get a breast lift when she gets older.
The actress also discussed her voluptuous body with Katie Couric on the newswoman's new daytime talk show earlier this month, when she said her management team had tried to convince her to get a breast reduction in the past.
"At the beginning, it was hard, and [my publicist] used to tell me, 'Maybe you should get to a more normal, standard size,'" Vergara told Couric.
But the actress never truly considered going forward with any body alterations, she said.
"I'm very proud of my body and the way I look," Vergara said. "I would be ungrateful to be saying, 'Oh, I'm so mad because people just look at me and see my pretty face.' I thank God for what he has given me and I take advantage of it."
