Emotions were running high at a special advance screening for Furious 7 on March 16, as Vin Diesel showed up to pay tribute to Paul Walker, hours after the birth of his child.

The actor was present at the unveiling of the film for a select audience in Los Angeles and had rushed to the venue straight from the hospital where his wife delivered his third child. At another point in the speech Diesel choked up remembering Walker as he impressed upon their deep bond of friendship and brotherhood, stating that they familial ties on screen were very close to how they were in real life.
