'Witches Of East End' Cancelled Or Renewed: Is There Going To Be A Movie Version Of The Former Series? [VIDEO]
Is is true? Could there really be a Witches of East End movie?
How Many Signatures Are Needed For The 'Witches Of East End' Petition To Reach Its Goal?
It definitely sounds possible since Madchen Amick, who played Wendy on the former series, teased it to fans. On Twitter, she mentioned how people can help raise the idea that a movie version of the supernatural drama should end up happening.
"Do the #witchEEs want a #woEEmovie??" Amick tweeted on Saturday. "If so, let @20thcenturyfox know...we want to hear from u!"
'Witches Of East End' Petition Gains Attention Everywhere
The actress then added a link to the online petition that fans have been signing to give the show a renewal. There are currently more than 127,000 signatures to date.
There have been constant rumors back and forth on the series getting a renewal despite that fact that it got cancelled last fall. But viewers have done everything in their power to at least let the witches have some closure.
The odds of a third season seem pretty slim at this point ever since Digital Spy announced that Rachel Boston (Ingrid) has signed onto another show called For Justice. If she's made plans for a new TV series, odds are likely that the East End might be a done deal.
Even if the show is gone, perhaps a movie could end up happening based on what Amick posted.
