The official Twitter page for Jurassic World unveiled the first look at Dr. Wu in the film on March 20.

Actor B.D. Wong looks sharp in his scientist's garb, and the only difference from Jurassic Park (1994) is that he has a few greys in his hair.

"Welcome back, Dr. Wu. #JurassicWorld" the tweet reads, captioning the still.

Jurassic World Has A 'Really Cool Factor To It'

Wu was an integral part of the team of scientists funded by John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), InGen's billionaire CEO and the park's creator, in the film.

In March last year speaking with IGN about the fourth installment in the franchise, director Colin Trevorrow said that Wong's character was in fact a very important one in the Michael Crichton novel on which the film is based.

The director then went on to reveal that Wong would be part of this film because his character made sense in the new story.

"This hasn't been announced yet, but B.D. Wong will be returning as Dr. Henry Wu," he said. "He had a much larger role in the original novel, he was the engineer of this breakthrough in de-extinction. He spent two decades living in Hammond's shadow, underappreciated. We think there's more to his story."

Jurassic World also stars Chris Pratt, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Bryce Dallas Howard and Irrfan Khan.

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
