The entire chat can be viewed below, but here are some highlights of James and Morgan talking about their characters, other characters who are directly linked to them on The Young and the Restless and each other.
The first question was asking the soap stars to sum up their characters' relationship in three words and Morgan kicked it off by saying "naughty."
"Hot," James added and Morgan claimed "Hevon" is also "juicy."
Another fan of the soap asked them for their first impressions of each other when they first met.
"I said, 'Oh my God, it's Little Richie,'" which is a reference to James' gig as Richie Crawford on Family Matters.
Her response made James laugh, which caused her to laugh too.
"I thought you looked so much like Little Richie and I thought you were awesome, you're sweet and a gentleman and a little bit of a jerk. Can I say that?" she added with more laughter.
"But I got used to it. And stubborn. You're very stubborn," Morgan added about her onscreen lover.
"These are things I found out afterwards though. When I first met you I thought you were a really good guy," Morgan shared, which resulted in more laughter from both of them.
James then shared his first impression of Morgan.
"I thought you're Canadian so I expected you to be really nice cause that's all I know about Canadians. They're very, very, nice people. I was right for the most part," he said and then elaborated that his onscreen lover has stubborn tendencies too.
"My first impression though was you're very sweet. I thought you were really talented. It was very natural how you started on the show," he stated and complimented her beauty too.
Morgan was then asked about who she'd like her character to become good friends with on the soap to talk about her issues with her relationship with James' character.
She picked Leslie Michaelson, who is portrayed by Angell Conwell.
"Me and Angell Conwell are really great friends in real life," she said as her reasoning so it could translate onscreen.
She also mentioned Lily Winters Ashby who is played by Christel Khalil, but given their rough history she said, "That's just not going to happen."
James was asked about the slapping that occurs onscreen since his character has been slapped roughly a handful of times during the course of the storyline surrounding them presently.
"Every single one of them [the slaps] were as real as can be," he shared, adding, Morgan "was much nicer" with them.
The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
The Young and the Restless will be pre-empted today, March 20, due to CBS coverage of the NCAA tournament.
