According to Bethenny Frankel, she was never too keen on being a reality television star. The returning Real Housewives Of New York co-star recently went on the record to admit that she was once "embarrassed" to be associated with the Housewives franchise.

Speaking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live (via Us Weekly) this week, Frankel said that even though the show brought her fame and popularity, she didn't like the title that came with it.

She said, "There was a point when I was a little embarrassed to be a Housewife. I felt like it was a little something to not be proud of. There was a time when I was in it that it felt kind of not what I started out as, and that's why I walked away."

Frankel added, "Now coming back, I feel I'm proud to do it again and I feel like it is a different show."

Meanwhile, Frankel has vowed to never get married again, as she doesn't want to make the same mistakes she made in the past.

According to Us Weekly on Thursday, Frankel made the revelation during a special appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Bravo.

She said, "I will never get legally married again. It doesn't mean that I would not commit to someone. I'm not jaded. I'm not bitter about love. I think there are amazing guys out there in the world, it's none of that."

As far as her soon-to-be ex-husband Jason Hoppy, Frankel admits that things have gone from bad to worse for the previously happy couple. Frankel recalled him as saying, "Jason said to me, 'Get ready, we are going to war. It's over. We're done.'"
