'Longmire' Gets A Big 'Welcome' In Santa Fe

Tost served as a writer for the popular crime drama back when it first started out on A&E and will continue to write for the show now that it's on Netflix.

Of course, a new network could mean some stylistic changes are inevitable. Even with the same cast and crew, the level of censorship involved with the program's A&E life was certainly more drastic.

Netflix has given the series more freedom for content in terms of sexuality, language, and violence. While it remains uncertain exactly how much of this freedom that writers have chosen to utilize, it could add an extra edge to the program moving forward.

Longmire will return for a fourth season on Netflix sometime this fall, though an official premiere date has yet to be released.
