He ended his marriage because of a huge secret his wife was keeping from him, but Rick's (Jacob Young) future could still be in jeopardy because of his relationship with Maya (Karla Mosley) as well on The Bold and the Beautiful.

3 Ways Maya's Secret Could Impact Her Future At Forrester

He and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) are officially divorced following her growing attraction to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and he has moved on with his ex-girlfriend, Maya, since then. And though the relationship is one many didn't approve of at first, they've become more accepted as a couple these days, and as a result they are expected to be planning some sort of future together-but now that Maya's huge secret that she kept from Rick is on the verge of coming out, that could all change.

Rick has been talking to his Aunt Katie (Heather Tom) about his decision to divorce Caroline, admitting he was too hurt by her lies to stay with her-and maintaining that the honesty he gets with Maya is part of what he loves about her. As a result, Katie will ask her nephew if he sees the relationship going anywhere-specifically, if he sees the same kind of future with her that he did with Caroline.

Maya's Shocking Secret Is Revealed

"The children you talked about having with Caroline...Are you going to have them with Maya?" she asks Rick in a preview clip for the Monday, March 23 episode.

If Rick answers that he does in fact plan on having children with Maya however, he will be in for the biggest surprise he could have never imagined possible when he pitches the idea to Maya though-who, like Caroline, has been keeping a secret from Rick-and hers is much bigger than having feelings for someone else.

Maya's sister, Nicole (Reign Edwards) had been threatening to expose Maya's secret since arriving in L.A., and after Maya finally demanded she spill what she knows, the truth came out-Maya was actually born as Myron, and is transgender.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
