Rihanna & Chris Brown Go on Three Consecutive Dates In New York; Kiss, Hold Hands At Jay-Z Concert
It seems three times is a charm for Rihanna and Chris Brown. The singers were spotted on their third outing in New York three days in a row this week.
Rihanna and Brown attended Jay-Z's concert at the Barclays Stadium in Brooklyn together on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
Rap Radar founder Elliott Wilson tweeted a photo of the pair sitting together in the VIP section at the arena. The singers were sitting behind Jayz's wife Beyonce and Jay's Roc Nation artist Rita Ora.
In the photo, Brown's arm is stretched across the back of Rihanna's chair, a sign that their outing was more than platonic. A concertgoer told Hollywood Life, "[Rihanna and Chris] were holding hands at one point and kissed last night!"
The pair's outing is the third time the two songbirds stepped out in public together and has caused speculation that the pair has rekindled their romance.
According to many reports, the pair met up at the Griffin nightclub in the Meatpacking District in New York City on Monday, Oct.1. Brown allegedly took off his shirt and began "dancing on the table for Rihanna," a source told Celebuzz. The clubgoer claimed that the possibly "on" again couple continued "dancing together and (were) being very smitten."
Another eyewitness told MediaTakeout that the former couple locked themselves in the bathroom for a "long time" while Brown's security stood guard outside to not let anyone else in.
According to the report, Brown left the bathroom first and the Bajan beauty left not long after looking "noticeably disheveled."
"They were in the club partying hard, had some drinks and kush and one thing led to another and that was that," a source close to Brown told Hollywood Life. "She wanted some of him and she got some. Wasn't like Chris was gone turn her down. He wanted her just as much as she wanted him."
Another eyewitness shared her spotting on Twitter: "Btw Chris brown and Rihanna are def together or at least hooking up... Saw it 1st hand," wrote @kandibecool
They left the club separately around 4 a.m according to several reports.
However, on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 2, Brown was spotted leaving the Gansevoort Park hotel in New York, where Rihanna is staying this week. They were later seen together at the 1Oak nightclub.
On Wed, Oct. 3, Brown and RiRi left her hotel ten minutes apart prior to attending the Jay-Z concert together.
According to Hollywood Life, every time the pair met up, Brown was spotted exiting the "We Found Love" singer's hotel hours before or after.
Brown and Rihanna split in 2009 following his brutal attack on the pop star shortly after they attended the Grammys together. Brown's assault on the "Umbrella" singer left her with multiple facial injuries.
Rihanna took a restraining order out against the singer after he was charged with assault. Brown is still on probation for his alleged assault of Rihanna in 2009.
The pair first went public about their friendship when Rihanna shocked the world and told Oprah Winfrey that they were still friends.
The following month on Sept. 6, the pair made headlines when Brown allegedly kissed "RiRi" on the lips at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
