There have been endless twists that keep fans guessing who might have murdered an innocent child on ABC's Secrets and Lies, but anyone hoping to figure out the answer to the mystery before the season finale will be disappointed, because even the show's cast can't spoil things-because they also don't know the answer.

Another Neighbor Is Revealed As A Potential Suspect On Secrets and Lies

KaDee Strickland, who portrays Ben's (Ryan Phillippe) wife in the ABC series, recently spoke to TV Line about the show, and admitted that they actually shot multiple endings to keep any spoilers from emerging and ruining the mystery. Unfortunately for those hoping to pick up on clues from any interviews the cast gives, it means that they also have no idea who the ultimate killer will wind up being.

"...We have four more episodes [to air] and I don't know who did it," Strickland said. "We shot alternate endings, so it's definitely something I'm excited to find out as well. For an actor, it was a lot of fun to be caught up in the same web that the audience is finding themselves in, because I won't know [who the killer is] until the final episode airs."

But while she doesn't know exactly who will be unveiled as a murderer on the show, she does have some idea about who the last suspects will be, besides her on-screen husband.

"...I know some things that happen that lead up to an answer, but I don't know what the answer is," she said.

And while she can't drop hints about the question fans want answered most, she can give them clues about what they're going to see in general leading up to the show's finale-and promises that they aren't done learning some of her character, Christy's, big secrets.

"Everyone's got a multi-layered tier of secrets," she revealed, before adding that Christy, and others, would all be exposed in a different light in the coming weeks. "...you will see Christy go through a lot of ebb and flow in the coming weeks. A lot happens. Trust me, a lot happens. You're going to learn week to week something new about these people. And I really love the design of unveiling the neighbors, and who they all show up as."

Secrets & Lies airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
