Darius McCrary, most known for his role as Eddie Winslow on the hit 90s series Family Matters has been arrested, and he's livid about it.

While fans remember him as the only son of Carl and Harriet Winslow, McCrary was taken into custody in Oakland County, Mich. earlier this week for back child support, TMZ reported Thursday. He could either pay the $5,500 he owed or spend two weeks in jail. He ended up paying the money and was only an inmate for a few hours, but he quickly jumped on Twitter to share his thoughts.

"All I'm trying to do is raise my son #BeingDadIsNotAnOption".

He then mentioned the police department who nabbed him while encouraging other dads.

"Shout Out & a BIG #salute 2 the Oakland county Sheriffs and All Fathers being wrongly persecuted ... #StayStrong U guys rock!!"

He went on to state his case that he is indeed a good father and shared an old photo.

He wrote, "#TBT school shopping 4 my son. Do anything 4that little guy, love him beyond measure. #Dad".

But that didn't stop the critics and jokes from pouring in.

One wrote, "Darius McCrary is in jail for not paying child support. I guess...family DOESN'T matter."

Another fan made a similar jab with, "family didn't matter huh".

A third fan chimed in with, "Thats why your WINSLOW".

McCrary didn't take too well to the jokes over his arrest and made another statement for his critics.

"I've spent all my career in Hollywood and have NEVER been arrested once. I fly in to Oakland County 2 resolve issues and u guys got jokes? Great 2 B news worthy. Glad U guys know #OaklandCounty".

He also retweeted a fan who dissed the county.
