'The Originals' Season 2 Finale: TV Writer Warns There Will Be A Few Laughs & Plenty Of Tears? [VIDEO]
Fans of The CW's The Originals are in for one epic season finale.
Klaus Will Be As Ruthless As Ever On 'The Originals'
On Thursday Carina MacKenzie, one of the writers for the series, told fans on twitter that she'd ready the season two finale and "mostly cried" throughout it.

Mackenzie did note that there will be a few laughs in there, though the finale will generally take on a darker tone. This is pretty typical of the program, which featured a grueling birth-to-death-to-life sequence during its first season finale in 2014.
A few weeks back series creator Julie Plec warned there would be a major death coming to the show soon and that could come into play with the finale.
Between Dahlia's (Claudia Black) return and Rebekah's (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) body swapping problem, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will have plenty of obstacles as the season continues next month.
Then of course there is the fact that Klaus trusts no one to protect his daughter, not even the child's own mother, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin). That paranoia all by itself is bound to stir up some trouble. It has already alienated Hayley and her new husband, Jackson (Nathan Parsons) and could destroy the wolves before they've even had a chance to rebuild their community.
The Originals will return on The CW for the remainder of its second season on Monday, April 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
