It sounds like the two really cherish their son.
Dustin Johnson Prefers Being A Father To Being Social
On Thursday, The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Dustin Johnson's inant son helps the pro-golfer deal with tough days.
When he shot a disappointing 6-over 78 on opening day of the Valero Texas Open, the golfer found comfort in going back to the hotel where fiancee Paulina Gretzky and their two-month-old son, Tatum, were waiting.

"It's the best thing in the world," Johnson, 30, said of family life. "It does put days like this into perspective. ... I know I get to go play with my little man right now, so I'm doing just fine," Johnson said.
The golfer took a six-month leave of absence for "personal challneges" after revealing that he had a drinking problem.
"I learned a whole lot of stuff about myself [during the leave]," he said.
But now he seems to be on a different path.
"I'm in a really good place," he said. "Golf game is good. Family is good. My son is good. Everything is really good right now."
That is, except for his golf game at opening day.
"It was very tough," he said. "The wind's blowing 30 miles per hour, so whether into the wind or down wind, it played very difficult. And I didn't drive it very well, which made it even tougher."
Back on the topic of being a father, he said: "Even after a bad day you get to go back to your room and see your little guy, and it doesn't seem so bad anymore. Being a father changes your perspective."
